Beanie
Hat
 |
No crocheted
flaps, no dodgy stick men or reindeer figures and definitely
not a bobble in sight!
In case you were wondering where the so-called beanie design
came from, next time you watch a Richard Todd, black & white
British War film, take a look at what our valiant commandos
wore on their heads (instead of a steel helmet). A nice knitted
hat to stop their ears from falling off whilst kayaking up a
Fjord. Remember the film?
We would also like to point out that just about every other
beanie hat you see today has the seam in the wrong place. They’re
worn the wrong way around! The Royal Marines knew which way
was the most comfortable; the seam shouldn’t run from
ear to ear, because it’s far less comfortable, try it.
