what is it?
With the pennel both hooks go into the same bait; a fish will cause the pulley-effect by pulling your lead clear when hooked.


where would I use it?
Ideal for targeting bigger fish with bigger baits, on a venue where you might encounter the odd snag..


how should I use it?
Bait the bottom hook as normal then wrap the top hook around the line of the pennel. Hook it into the top of the bait to hold it securely in place. Then clip the bottom hook of the pennel on your impact lead, and cast.
