what is it?
With the pennel both hooks go into the same bait; with a rotten bottom you won’t lose your fish or rig, just the lead.


where would I use it?
Ideal for targeting bigger fish with bigger baits, on a venue where tackle and fish losses can be high.


how should I use it?
Connect a lead to the 10lb line, secure the rotten bottom clip, bait the pennel with a big bait (as normal) and cast. If the lead becomes snagged, a steady pull should snap the 10lb line, allowing you to reel in the lead and land the fish.
