Above all, our
clothing has to keep the water on the outside. The fabric that
our clothing is made from has one of the highest specs you can
get, being waterproof to 10,000+ gm/m2/24hrs and it's also totally
breathable. It isn't padded or quilt-lined for 2 very good reasons.
Internal padding has a big impact on how breathable fabric is.
It stops it almost completely. It also means that you'd be far
too hot in the summer after a trek with your gear; where you
end up taking it all off again. Our zips mean you can ventilate
whenever you need to. So actually, we don't do drafts unless
you want them! |
