Our new rods were designed to fill a very
real need.
Affordable, easy to use fishing rods that are suited to the most
common aspect of sea angling in the UK today. A 6oz lead and
some bait. |
|
Hence the name!
These rods have taken a considerable amount
of time and prototyping to perfect due the fact that these rods
have not only got to be easy to use and substantial enough to
stand up to the rigors of modern sea angling, but they also had
to be affordable. We understand that there are thousands of
anglers out there that would love to buy one of our standard
range of rods, but spending over £200 on any rod may just not be
possible.
So our new six&bait range starts at just £129.99 ( SSP ) for the
12’ six&bait, and goes up to £139.99 ( SSP ) for the 13’
version. Both of these rods are available in both dedicated
fixed spool or multiplier versions and the blanks are slim,
light and two equal sections.
So what makes our new rods so different from others at this
price point? To put it simply, because we designed them! We fish
week in week out, through out the year, and that means that we
talk to anglers from all over the UK and have been able to pick
their brains about what they wanted or needed from a mid price
beach rod. We are very proud of these new rods and believe that
they offer UK anglers a brand new level of performance and
excellence at this price point, and will even give a few much
more expensive rods a good run for their money, especially if
you are a cod angler.
You could use them off the rocks, off a beach or even off the
pier, in fact anywhere where you need to cast 6’ozs and up to
three baits.
They have back-bone, they load and cast well, have great bite
detection and really are easy to use, no matter what your
experience or ability or what reel you use.
All in all, serious rods at a not so serious price! More info
very soon....

Luggage
We know that just about every single angler
out there will at some time or another have owned and used a
seat box.
Most people have tried bags and rucksacks but
nine times out of then, anglers come back to the good old
seat box. They just work.
The only drawback with them is carrying the
things. To be frank, they can be a pain in the,
err...back!
You could try and add bits of foam or padding
to make them more comfortable to carry, but ultimately they
have always been one of those things that anglers have just
endured.

The Clothing
Let’s face it, if we lived somewhere hot we could
all go fishing in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt every day
of the year. But hey, we don’t. Our weather is far
more ‘interesting’ than that and if there's
one word that never gets used when talking about the weather,
it’s the word ‘boring’. It can change
from sun to rain to sleet to snow and back to sun again;
all in the space of one cast.

Accessories
Yeah, we know it's just a cap. But you've
got to keep the sun out of your eyes somehow . . .
